Did you even read this? Did you just look at the first couple and say, oh, that’s funny. Or, do you actually find the blatant and awfully racist depictions funny? (namely, the “Africa” one at the bottom).

I’m sorry if you are offended but this is not connected with racism, only questioning stereotypes.
Stereotypes… so this is a political commentary? Not a joke? … displaying pictures that depict that Africans have not evolved further than than one up from the initial step is downright racist.
The shit that is on your blog is all over the freakin’ net… your weekly galleries and general format are a straight copy of a ton of other blogs out there… deleting bookmark now.

I also don’t find this offending, especially because it includes almost every race with its stereotypes. It’s if funny if you recognize it, not because of mocking. But I can understand your point of view.
About this site, in a ton of internet shit it extracts some very good articles and pictures. For me, it’s worth of bookmark.
This is pretty offensive. It’s one thing to show America as being fat and laughing it off- there is no denying that obesity is a problem in America and a valid point is made. As you go down the list, the same can be said for most countries- giant robots are culturally significant in Japan, China is known for having one of the largest populations on the planet and even Israel highlights a current religious/political problem.
The African “evolution”, however, does not reflect anything close to a historical, cultural or political truth related to the country or its people. Africans are obviously not monkeys and the only people who suggested that were racist waste of life white supremisists who wanted to insist that Africans were not real people capable of intellect or culture so the could brutally exploit and abuse them.
So yes, this is *extremely* racist. Africa is the only country in which there isn’t even a shred of truth to tie the country to the theme being made.

The black and white version of Africa (Afrika) is still there, but I do sincerely appreciate you removing the color version. I’m sure others will appreciate it as well. Thank you.

Sure obesity is a problem in America, but far from everyone is fat over there (I live in Sweden), sure Russia is known for both manufacturing and using weapons alot, but I doubt that even 50% of russias population has ever used a weapon.
So why is it just the ones about Africa that is racist? It’s just that it was something “mean” about black people and as soon as it’s against anyone who’s not white it’s racism. If a black man/woman would have done something like this but didn’t include Africa or lets just say black people (because that’s what this clearly is about) you would have thought that it was hilarious.

Personally I think it’s funny to suggest many nations have evolved into undesirable peoples, but completely abhorrent to suggest that Africans haven’t evolved at all.

Swearing isn’t big or clever it is just way of expressing thoughts – giving information. If you have need to point on any sign of swearing it only shows lack of critical thinking.

1. Africa isn’t a country.
2. Not every racist is white, racism can be found in any group towards any other group.
3. You obviously know little to nothing about the political and social realities within the continent of Africa over the last few decades. Read about the civil wars, the war crimes, the genocides, the children soldiers, and the countless other atrocities having occurred in Africa which explain the statement about which the image was meant to depict.
This is fact, get over it. Plain and simple people are different in different countries. Some countries have a lot of different people from different places in earth. America is not only full of fat asses, we too have our share of monkeys with guns.
@blackjesus, actually it is worst when you depict Black people in a racist fashion way more than if was White people. Why?
Because it’s within context. This is an English speaking website, most people who speak English well are White, most people who view this are White. America is predominately a White country. So yes when people depict a certain group of people in a racist manner within context it’s worst. Chinese can poke fun at themselves, but if they were to poke fun at Europeans on a Chinese website viewed by Chinese people, then yes it’s racist.
